On December 8 and December 12, 2020 40 young women-activists from the Charoghi Hidoyat Center supported by the Committee on Women and Family Affairs conducted open-air discussions with the citizens of Dushanbe in the most crowded city squares (Sadbarg and Opera and Ballet Theatre) calling everyone to promote zero tolerance towards discrimination and domestic violence.

The young activists informed the population on the actual problems of violence against women in the society and family and shared project materials containing information on the available services for the victims of domestic violence.

This event was a joint effort of PDV and the Committee on Women and Family Affairs in the framework of the Global Activism of the 16 Days against Gender-based Violence as part of the mutual Action Plan for 2020 between PDV and CoWFA.
